Dude, where’s my Might?

I like to level alts – it’s stress free! I get to noob it up as much as I want and learn about how other classes work. However there’s something I’ve noticed while playing these alts. A lot of paladins seem really confused about what buffs they should be giving out to different classes. It’s one thing when the pally is level 15 and they don’t have very many choices. It’s another thing when at level 55 my hunter gets salvation. /facepalm

With that in mind I’ve created a little chart. It’s not foolproof (still some thinking involved) but it gives a good idea of what’s essential, alright, and just not needed by different classes. I’ve taken a nod from Blizz in how it’s coded, hopefully making it easier to understand!

Here’s how to read it, and please forgive my crappy Photoshop skills:

Purple – epic, best quality buff!

Blue – not as good as an epic, but it’ll do.

Green – if a raid has 3 (or more) paladins, then this will be nice as another buff.

White – not a waste, but not usually needed either.

And if it’s not marked, then don’t buff it!

In some places there are two purple flowers, or two blue flowers for one class. This means that the two buffs are either situational, or a personal preference. For example, feral druids have both Blessing of Light and Blessing of Salvation marked as blue. If the feral druid is tanking, they’ll need Light. If they’re dps, they’ll need Salvation.

Happy buffing!

Thanks for checking it out! Kings is as close to a legendary buff as it gets imo. ;)

    Looks pretty accurate to me!

Although truthfully, as a hunter, my preference for Salv depends on whether or not I’m pulling. If I’m gonna be pulling and trapping, then gimme Might. Otherwise, I’m okay with Salv, just because I’m an Aggronaut.
